Ever since Scarlett arrived four days ago, Mama has been talking about nothing else. It's always Scarlett, Scarlett, Scarlett! We're not sure what to think about her yet. We like the fact that she doesn't try to chase us or dig into our condo. So far she's only been watching us if she's not ignoring us altogether. Mama assures us that is a good thing. I'm not so sure. Bunnicula doesn't care one way or the other. He rarely does about anything but food. However, I'm always watching her back. Just to make sure her watching us isn't because she's wondering what we'll taste like. You can never be too careful being a prey animal.
A couple of days ago, I decided to play a little trick on Mama. I threw myself down on the top of the condo and fell asleep with my feet straight in the air. I really was just comfortable and tired, but it has a way of freaking Mama out. I woke up to the flash of her camera, which wasn't so nice a way to wake up. She was laughing when I gave her my most peevish look. It was a great way to steal some attention back from Scarlett. I might consider doing it more often.
Laters,
Cleo
